Molteni&C Comes to 99 The Strand, Parnell
A new chapter in Auckland’s design landscape is underway, as Dawson & Co prepares to unveil a dedicated flagship showroom for Molteni&C at 99 The Strand, Parnell.
Long represented within Dawson & Co’s own showrooms, Molteni&C now steps into a space of its own. Supported by sustained growth at the premium end of the market, this is an intentional evolution that reflects both the brand’s global stature and the growing appetite for high-end, design-led living in New Zealand.
Positioned directly across from Dawson & Co’s existing Parnell showroom, the new gallery marks a significant moment not only for the business, but for Auckland’s wider luxury retail scene.

The Molteni&C Way of Living
Spanning approximately 450 square metres, the flagship has been conceived as a complete Molteni&C environment, showcasing the brand’s holistic approach to the home. From kitchens and wardrobes to living and bedroom settings, each space is designed to immerse visitors in the quiet sophistication and technical precision that define Molteni&C.
Founded in Italy in 1934, Molteni&C has long been recognised for its commitment to craftsmanship, innovation, and enduring design. Collaborations with some of the world’s leading architects and designers have shaped a collection that is both culturally significant and inherently timeless. This legacy is reflected throughout the new Parnell space, where each setting speaks to a considered way of living, grounded in quality and restraint.
The building itself, formerly home to a long-standing furniture showroom, is being thoughtfully reimagined. Original architectural elements, including exposed beams and traces of its industrial past, will sit in contrast to Molteni&C’s refined, contemporary aesthetic, creating a layered and textural retail experience.

A Defining Moment for Auckland Design
More than a new showroom, the Molteni&C flagship represents a shift in scale and ambition. It speaks to a maturing market, one that values craftsmanship, longevity, and considered design.
