We are very excited to share that we have merged with Australian furniture company Cosh Living, marking a major strategic step in expanding our footprint.

Cosh Living are the Australian distributors of Tribu and Dedon, along with emerging Australian brand Kett, brands that align closely with our own portfolio and business model, making this a natural and complementary partnership.

One of the most exciting outcomes of the merger is that we will soon be showcasing the Kett collection of indoor and outdoor furniture in our Parnell showroom, initially with a vignette of the most coveted pieces launching in November, with a 200 sqm gallery of Kett following in early 2026.

The merger also gives Dawson & Co direct access to significant stock of Tribu and Dedon, held in Melbourne, ensuring year-round supply of these significant brands. In addition, our ability to purchase directly from Tribu’s factories and utilise Australian-made Tribu cushions, enables better pricing and shorter lead times, benefits that will be passed on to our loyal customers.

From a management perspective, nothing will change in New Zealand. A Cosh & Dawson board has been established, made up of Angus, Scott, Colin, Shane, and Aaron. This will not affect the Dawson & Co brand, which will continue trading under our trusted name, a name recognised across New Zealand for nearly 50 years.
