Crofters celebrates the beauty of old elm timber in its most primal, natural form. No detailing has been added, just simple artisanal construction methods that highlight the timber’s beautiful grain pattern and characterful knots and fissures from its past life.
The Italians call it arte povera or “impoverished art”, a return to simple objects and messages where the everyday becomes meaningful. We call it humble luxury, where the intrinsic value is in the most authentic, beautiful materials and the hours of hand-craftsmanship that go into each piece. The name Crofters is an agricultural term, and refers to the farmers who live and work on croft land in the Scottish Highlands and Islands.

We hold a selection of our top-selling items in stock from the brands we work with including dining chairs, stools, dining tables, sofas, coffee tables, side tables, dining, outdoor furniture, and outdoor umbrellas. These can normally be ready for dispatch from our Auckland warehouse within 3 - 4 days after receiving payment.
Made to order and International items
Given the breath of range and the customization options available on a number of our items, holding stock is not an option beyond our best sellers. As a high proportion of our collections are made overseas, there are varying lead times depending on production times, country of origin, shipping, seasonality, and other factors outside of our control. We will provide you with an estimated lead time at time of enquiry and provide you with regular updates once an order has been placed, produced, shipped, and available for delivery.
